MINDFUL
Meadows,
greenlands, silver birches,
country lanes with quaint old churches,
steepled roofs atop small houses,
people, dear – young -old -far -near,

a thousand words in anger spoken,
taken back,a promise broken,
promise kept, mistakes forgiven,
woodland walks
till one is driven

to conceive of all as one:
sky, earth, creatures,
moon and sun.
