NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

New Year’s resolutions often
are of the ‘January’ kind.
January, month of Janus,
with two faces and one mind.
Conflicting beliefs abound.
If found and faced and turned around,
and new seeds planted there instead
those seeds, like crocus in good time,
will bravely push through ice and snow,
surprise, delight, and gain and grow.
